GEO Barbados
State of the Environment Report 2000
This report is the newest State of the Environment Report developed by the Ministry of Physical Development and Environment of Barbados. It examines the environment of this Caribbean nation in seven thematic categories and 'provides a platform on which future analyses can be built'.

GEO Cuba
Environment Outlook of Cuba 2000
Integrated environmental assessment of Cuba using the GEO methodology. This report was completed by the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment, Cuba (CITMA) in 2001. The report follows the GEO structure, including sections on the environmental situation, existing policy responses and future outlook.

GEO Costa Rica
Costa Rica Environment Outlook 2002
Produced by the Costa Rican Ministry of the Environment and Energy and the University of Costa Rica, this report presents the results of two major analysis: the assessments of state of the environment and of the police response, followed by a special section on moving forwards to a participatory environmental policy.

GEO Nicaragua
Nicaragua State of the Environment Report 2001

Country Report: Chile State of the Environment 1999
Assessment of the environment and natural resources in Chile undertaken by the University of Chile, Centre for Public Policy Analysis (CAPP). This 409-page report analyses eight key environmental fields as well as the pressures and policies related to these topics.

GEO Peru
Peru National State of the Environment Report 2000
Assessment of the environment and policy in Peru undertaken by the National Environmental Commission (CONAM). The report examines the country’s natural resources, as well as pressures on these resources (manufacturing, mining and fishing contamination etc.), and provides policy priorities.
